Jean Hudson Tinsley, 87, of Easley and wife of the late George Robert Tinsley, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Guy Hudson and Della Christine Moore Hudson.

Mrs. Tinsley was retired from Platt-Saco Lowell and was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her husband dearly and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling the world.

Surviving are her sisters, Florence Childress and Judy Stokes (Doug) both of Easley; brothers, Charles Ed Hudson (Bethel), Carroll Hudson (Carolyn) and Jerry Hudson all of Pickens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Florene Cobb; and a brother, David Elwyn Hudson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Geer Memorial Baptist Church, 911 S. 5th Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at their respective homes.
