Jean Charles Warren, 86, of 246 Alta Vista Drive, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Warren was born in Iva, SC, a son of the late Charlie Andrew and Corrine Elizabeth Rhodes Warren. He was a retired plant maintenance supervisor with Libco Mills in Liberty. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII where he was a Staff Sgt and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat during the Battle of the Buldge. He was a member of Liberty First Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Louise Scott Warren of the home; a son, Dr. Randy Warren and his wife, Joan of Jacksonville, FL; 5 daughters, Betty Garrett and her husband Whit of Easley, Linda Looper and her husband Jim of Dacusville, Martha Anne Mann and her husband, James of Six Mile, Alice McDunn and her husband, Michael of Greenville and Anita Merck and her husband, Tim of Liberty; a brother, Jack Warren of Iva; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley is assisting the family with arrangements.
