Helena Jean Moore Watson, 65, wife for 48 years of Michael E. Watson, Sr., died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at her home.
Born in Central, SC, Jean was a daughter of the late Lucille Bell and Arthur Lee Moore. She worked at Ingles Market in Liberty and Clemson for over 20 years where she was known as a hard working and dedicated employee. Her family and friends knew her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a loving and kind heart and soul. Jean was an avid Clemson fan and loved fishing, baseball, softball and watching football.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by her son, Michael E. Watson II "Little Mike" and his wife, Jamie of Liberty; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Jeanette Watson Barnes; brother, Jimmy Lee "Pochie" Moore; and a special nephew, Jackey L. Moore.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
