Jean Maddrey Wilson, 80, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Maddrey of Seaboard, NC, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Clemson Downs. She was a graduate of Meredith College for Women in Raleigh, NC. She taught in NC, Ohio, and Clemson where she taught at the Episcopal Day School of Clemson for 23 years. She was the wife of the late Dr. Hugh H. Wilson.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Wilson Owens, Greer, SC; son, Carl M. Wilson, Atlanta, GA; sisters, Mrs. James E. Brooks and Mrs. C.W. Davis both of Raleigh, NC and grandchildren, Hayes Owens, Hugh Wilson and Beth Wilson.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 11am at Clemson United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A private committal will be held prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemson United Methodist Church, 300 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
