Jeanette Lyles Melton, 62, of 232 Tate Road and wife of Joseph Clinton Melton, died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist, Easley.
Born in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of the late Norman and Elsie Jackson, she was a secretary with the First Baptist Church of Clemson Child Development Center and was a member of Ruhamah Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son, Joseph Melton and wife, Veronica of Central; one daughter, Pam Melton of the home; and six grandchildren, Nathan Melton, Davin Melton, Alex Kempf, Drayton Melton, Dylan Melton and Bella Melton.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of the son Joseph Melton, 525 S. Norris Drive, Central, SC 29630.
