Jeanette Allsep Mitchell

Jeanette Allsep Mitchell, 92, wife of the late Donald Harold "Speedy" Mitchell, of Six Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Born in Six Mile, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Harriett Jeanette Leopard Allsep.

Mrs. Mitchell loved her grandchildren and family. She also loved Christmas time and always had the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree. She was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church in Six Mile.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by daughters, Harriett Mitchell and Donna Garrett (Haskell), all of Six Mile; grandchildren, Mitch Garrett of Six Mile and Laura Stoner (Jody) of Central; great-grandchildren, and Michael Waters and Jeremy Stoner. Mrs. Mitchell was the last surviving child of John Henry and Harriett Jeanette Allsep.

A celebration of Jeanette's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday,  September 10, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church, 185 Ridgeland Dr., Six Mile, SC 29682.

The family will be at the residence of Donna and Haskell Garrett.
