Jeanette L. Cox Parker Snipes, 64, of 105 May Street, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at her home.
A native of Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Dessie Yates Cox. Mrs. Snipes was a homemaker and attended Tri-City Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Leonard Snipes, of the home ; one son, Sammy Parker, of Easley ; two daughters, Darlene Dodgins, of Liberty and Diane Crawford, of Easley ; three brothers, Lawrence Cox, William Cox and Harold Cox, all of Easley ; two sisters, Jessie Mae Meece and Ethel Cassell, both of Easley ; four grandchildren, Tyler Dodgins, Jessica Crawford, Melody Crawford and Heather Crawford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Richard Parker, a son, Richard Parker and two brothers, Joel Cox and Ralph Cox.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at United Wesleyan Church conducted by the Reverend Brian Aiken and the Reverend Donnie Massingill.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
