Jeanie Elizabeth Riggins

Jeanie Elizabeth Riggins, 71, died surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, October 24, 2018. She was born in Central August 17, 1947, the daughter of Lawrence D. and Catherine (Porter) Riggins.

Jeanie raised her family well and also worked as a weaver at Mayfair Mills – Glenwood. She was a member of Earl's Grove Baptist Church.

Jeanie is survived by a son, Robby Riggins (Wanda) of Seneca; a daughter, Michelle Ledford (Tony Metz) of Seneca; five grandchildren, Stephanie Riggins, Cody Ledford, Jessica Ledford, Kevin Swain, and Matt Swain; nine great grandchildren, Jacob, Levi, Colt, Parker, Lily, and Hensley Joe Swain, Mason Delagarza, Jayden and Aubree Riggins; three brothers, Rodney Riggins of Central, Randy Riggins (Donna) of Clemson, and Roger Riggins (Doris) of Central; and a sister, Peggy Kelly (Wallace) of Pendleton. She was predeceased by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27 at the Chapel; of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road in Central. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Clemson.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM Saturday, prior to the service.
