Reverend Doctor Jeff Nickolas Price, 69, formerly of 100 Evergreen Street, passed away, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Blue Ridge Living Center.
Born in Chester, SC, he was a son of Ruby Rash Price of Chester and the late Samuel Alexander Price.
Dr. Price was a graduate of Furman University and received his doctorate degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He was a retired Southern Baptist Minister. Dr. Price had served as pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC and Arial Baptist Church in Easley.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Stephen N. Price; two daughters, Nicki Hall and her husband Lawrence and Mary Ellen Bearden, all of Easley; two brothers, Bobby Price of Chester and Roger Price of Carlisle; a sister, Shirley Kay Barber of Chester; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a daughter, Gina Rogers.
Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, with the Reverend James Gable officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:30 pm Friday, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of a daughter at 100 Evergreen Street, Easley, SC 29642.
