The following are loving words from his family....

Jeff has decided to go on a different journey that I can't go with him on at this time. He left with his boots on, happy, and playing on his land.

Jeff was a man of many talents and great wisdom. He was a man's man and knew how to handle his weapons. He used very little words and his circle of friends was small, however his heart was not.

Jeff always was up for an adventure whether it was being in the Army, attending the Ohio State University, or starting his own construction business in Kansas City. His reputation for spectacular work was known throughout Kansas and Missouri.

Jeff touched many different individuals from many walks of life. Those like Carrie O'Dell who was his green thumb weekend partner. They would look for just the right plants and then go home to plant. There was always a competition on who had the best yard. Jeff was so proud of his yard. Jeff also was very proud of Carrie's sons, Nick and Matt, and the men they turned out to be. Lawton Kindig was like his son. Jeff loved him like he was his own. He took him under his wing and showed him everything he knew about construction and hunting. Jeff loved Lawton and was proud of the husband and father he had become. Jeff also was close to Levon and Ian Hussell who he was a part of their life when they were young. There is only one man who was called Jeff's best friend, and that was Mike Augugliaro. When Jeff moved to South Carolina it was Mike who was there for him. Mike was the only man Jeff ever said was his best friend. Mike, please know that he loved you very much and you had a special place in his heart. Then we can't forget his substitute in Tina's life until he came back, Anna McCauley. They had so many things in common from the love of hunting and guns to just being down to earth rednecks. But what bonded them the most was their love and devotion to Tina.

Now to Jeff's sisters, Missy and Mel … Missy was his partner in crime when they were growing up. And of course when caught Jeff would throw his sister under the bus and his big sister took it because she loved her little brother. Then there was Jeff's first princess, his baby sister Mel which he fondly called "dummy". He was so proud of her and loved her so very much. He was her knight in tarnished armor and when his baby sister needed him he was there.

Jeff also had a very close and loving bond with Keith and Cindy, whom are Fred and Dottie's children.

Then there is the first love of Jeff's life, his mother Nila Jean Robinson. There was never a doubt of Jeff's manhood, however when it came to his mom, he was definitely a "Mommy's boy". There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. She was the first love of his life and he compared every woman to her. He always checked on her. He was so proud about being able to build a home for his mom to come live with him. He was very grateful to Larry and the love he gave to his Mom, and because of that he held a special place in his heart also.

He also loved and had a close relationship with his dad, Fred. Jeff was everyone's rock, but when it came for Jeff to need someone his Dad was his rock. The few times that Jeff was weak, his Dad held him up. Jeff was also grateful to Dottie for loving him and accepting him as her own son. He never doubted Dottie's love for him. One of Jeff's greatest joys was that Fred, he and Damian were able to have a relationship together, even though Damian and Fred had more in common. Everyone knows that Damian got his book smarts from his grandfather. Where Jeff was handy with his hands his dad was very intelligent. Jeff was so happy that Fred was able to have a relationship with his grandson Damian.

Then there is the love of his life Tina. He never stopped loving her even when they were apart. When the time came he asked both his son Damian and her father Terrence for permission to marry her again. Jeff's only 2 regrets in his life was letting Tina and Damian go. He did promise Terry though that he deserved the opportunity to win them back … and he did. When he married Tina he immediately gained a daughter Lyndsey, who was his princess and had his heart. He was very proud of his children and loved them to his very core. Lyndsey was his princess and Damian his pride and joy, even if he did throw away Jeff's tools in the trash. His special name for Tina was "Puppy". He loved to ask her what her last name was and she would say Cornell. He would ask her what that would mean and she would say "Property". Jeff would smile and kiss her.

So baby....know that all of your friends and family are taking care of those closest to your heart and that the home you built with love will be finished.

Thank you baby for allowing me to be your property. Thank you for loving our children and giving them the strength and courage to be their authentic self. Thank you for sharing your love with so many. Thank you for being the best father to your son and daughter. Thank you for showing what unconditional love is. Thank you for curling my toes like no other. Thank you for all of my fur babies: Tisa Marie, Darla May, Sig Cornell and Mia Maria.

Most of all baby thank you for being the love of my life. You made me a better woman and words can't describe the love I will always have for you.

Always and forever,
Your Puppy
