Jeffrey Lee Hofstetter, 52, husband of Hope Freeman Nix, of Easley, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of Janice Jackson Hofstetter and the late Joseph Hofstetter, III.
Jeff was a skilled electrician and an accomplished drummer and played in several bands, which included Southern Ecstasy. He also was an avid Gamecocks and Crimson Tide fan as well as a NASCAR fan. He loved his family above all and attended Living Sanctuary Church in Piedmont, SC
In addition to his wife of 16 years, Jeff is survived by daughters, Jessica Hofstetter of Central and Jennifer Lozano (Oscar) of Easley, and their mother, Jane Hofstetter; Natalie Nix, and Abby and Paislee Hofstetter, all of Easley; a son, J.J. Hofstetter of Easley; a brother, Joseph Hofstetter, IV of Louisiana; sisters, Beverly Godfrey (Brett) of Greenville, and Kelly Hofstetter of Belton; his aunt, Sandra Moore (Carl); and his cousin, Doyce Jackson (Missy).
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Brayden Hofstetter; and his grandmother, Lily Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Living Sanctuary Church, Piedmont, SC.
