Mr. Jeffrey Ray Shirling, 55, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Born in Sarasota, FL, a son of Homer Ray and Lorena Myers Shirling, Mr. Shirling was a home maintenance technician and specialized in HVAC. He had a great passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and riding with many friends.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Geoffrey Shirling (Amber) of Folly Beach, SC and Kevin Suta of Pelzer, SC; a daughter, Jennifer Shirling (Josh Carmichael) of Thomasville, NC; a brother, Steven Roy Shirling (Donna) of Easley, SC; a sister, Annette Heschke (Tim) of Anderson, SC; and a grandson, Nolan Shirling.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his mother and father.
