Jennie Thomas Mills, 96, of Clemson Downs, Clemson, SC, passed away, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Clemson, SC.
Born in Hampton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Phoebe DeLoach and Jesse Thomas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clemson.
She is survived by two sons, John (Buddy) Varn and wife, Sara of Davenport, FL and Harold Varn and wife, Mary Tom of Braselton, GA; sister-in-law, Ruth Thomas of Hampton, SC; granddaughters, Tara Mason and Jennifer Trudeau; grandsons, Cliff Varn and Todd Varn; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her dear friend, Harless Carter.
She was predeceased by husbands, Jack Varn of Hampton, SC, Willard Lariscy and Alex Mills of Sylvania, GA; three brothers, Hilton Thomas and wife, Ann; A.C. (Dick) Thomas, and Archie Thomas all of Hampton, SC.
Memorial services will be 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 16th, in the Ernie Corley Center, Clemson Downs, Clemson, SC with Dr. Rusty Brock officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Ernie Corley Center.
