Jerry A. "Uncle Jerry" Cook, 70, of 104 Bentcreek Court, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Morganfield, KY, a son of the late Virgil I. and Bessie Hall Cook, Jerry was employed with Jon Hall Automotive Group in Daytona Beach, FL and a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Daytona Beach.
Surviving are two brothers, Roy Cook of Uniontown, KY, and Tommy Cook of Adrian, MI; four sisters, Agnes Ritchey of Daytona, FL, Nell Householder and Connie Cook, both of Morganfield, KY, and Mary Humphries of Tyler, TX. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews, and two very special friends, Mike and Susan Holcombe, Easley, SC.
For his last year, Jerry lived with his niece and her husband, Cheryl and Randy Abrams of Easley, SC.
