Jerry Edward Hendricks, 79, passed away on October 8th, 2024. He was born in Pickens County to the late Folger and Evelyn Hendricks.

Jerry was a Vietnam War Veteran and was proud to have been able to serve his country with honor. Jerry was awarded two Purple Hearts during his time in the service. 

Jerry was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Central, SC, where he served many years on the cemetery committee.

Jerry is survived by Sister, Willena Townsend; Nieces, Kim Crane, Tabitha Townsend, Bobbilynn Bowman, and Lynn Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his cherished wife Mary Elaine Hendricks; Brother, Folger Eugene Hendricks; and Sister, Brenda Trammell.

Visitation will be held from 1–1:45 PM on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Central, SC. A funeral Service will follow in the church starting at 2 PM. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. 

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
