Jerry Wilbur Pounds

Mr. Jerry Wilbur Pounds, 74, husband of Victoria "Vicki" Owens Pounds, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Born in Lexington, a son of the late Johnny Pounds and the late Dollie Courtney Pounds, Mr. Pounds was a graduate of Lexington High School and retired from Framatome. He was a member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church.

Jerry was a nature lover. He enjoyed working in his yard and woodworking. He was dedicated family man; loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Jerry will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of forty-nine years, are his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Pounds Linsz (Greg) of Liberty; a brother, Buck Pounds (Diana) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Charlie Linsz and Lizzie Linsz. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pounds was predeceased by two brothers, Frankie and Randy Pounds.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
