Jerry Bruce Smith, 53, of 230 McCullough School Road, formerly of Hall Road, Easley, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Howard and Mary Aileen Norris Smith, Mr. Smith was formerly employed with BMW and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Smith of the home; a son Shannon Smith (Monica) of Easley; two daughters, Brandy Cantrell of Lyman and Amanda Stewart of Easley; six grandchildren, Kyli, Camron, Kaitlyn and Brailyn Stewart, Hailey Robinson and Cody Bigham; and a special cousin, Sharon Dalton of Easley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was predeceased by a brother, Michael Smith.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. George Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
