Jerry Weaver Tinsley, 56, of 304 Haywood Acres Drive, died Friday October 31, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Tinsley was born in Greenville, a son of Naomi Weaver Tinsley, of Easley and the late Henry Ellison Tinsley. He was a former builder with Nalley Construction Company and a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Jeremy Shane Tinsley, of Easley ; daughters, Stacey Tinsley Fortner (Ben) and Stephanie Tinsley King (Jeff), all of Easley ; brothers, Michael Ray Tinsley (Toni) and his twin-brother, Terry Wyatt Tinsley, all of Easley ; grandchildren, Logan King, Dylan King, Briggs King, Lauren King and Chase Tinsley ; and his former wife, Renee Hunter Tinsley.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald "Donnie" Ellison Tinsley.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Neal Cochran, Reverend Mark McGuire and Dr. Alton Nix, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Jerry Tinsley Memorial Fund at People's National Bank, 1800 E. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the home of Stephanie T. King, 141 Red Maple Circle, Watson Grove, Easley.
