Jesse B. Rodgers of Liberty passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011.
Mr. Rodgers was born in Aiken County, son of the late Caleb and Ada Denkins Rodgers.
He was co-owner of Masterflow Seamless Gutters, a Mason and Shriner and Past Master of Monaghan Masonic Lodge. Mr. Rodgers was an avid gardner and fisherman. He was a member of Golden Creek Baptist Church and a former member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
He was first married to the late Margaret Chastain Rodgers, then to the late Edith Cox.
Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife, Vivian Wyatt Rodgers, a son; David Rodgers and his wife Brenda, of Easley; a daughter; Kathy Gallamore and her husband Jack, of Liberty; five step-sons, Barry Herd, David, Danny, Sam, and Steve Cox; a sister, Axie Doolittle of North Augusta, SC. Grandchildren: Star Haney, Brock Rodgers, Zane Coats, Trish Spence, and Seth Gallamore. Great grandchildren: Peyton Haney, Gavin, Jack, and Sara Margaret Coats. Maggie, J. T., and Cullen Spence;
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore, Rev. Mark Ford and Rev. Randy McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Greenville with Masonic Rites.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday prior to the service.
The families will be at 320 Ripplelake Dr. Easley and at 916 Terrapin Crossing, Liberty.
