Jessie Edna Welborn Looney Aul, 86, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Blue Ridge Living Center.
Born in Fair Play, Mrs. Aul was a daughter of the late Claude Jerome and Rena Hawkins Welborn. She retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, William Looney of Myrtle Beach and John Looney of Greenville; two daughters, Sue Lyles of Greenville, and Jean Moon of Easley; one brother, Thomas Welborn of Easley; five sisters, Sybil Andis, Bonnie Whitlock, Ann Garrett, Linda Bracken, and Brenda Atkinson; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Aul was predeceased by her husbands, James C. Looney and Richard Aul; a son, James Edward Looney; three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30 until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family is at their respective homes.
