Jessie McNeely "Jett" Browning, 83, of 407 Brushy Creek Road, wife of the late Clarence O. Browning, died recently at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Ervin and Laura Derossett McNeely, Mrs. Browniing was the former owner of Jett's Flowers, Inc. and was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mari and Nick Melehes of Greenville; a sister, Ann Hahn of Rock Hill; a son-in-law, Dr. Joe Tollison of Lexington, KY; and two grandchildren, Wade Tollison and Julie Tollison. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Browning was predeceased by a daughter, Betty B. Tollison and by a sister, Willie Mae McCue.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concerned Citizens for Animals, P.O. Box 1332, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
The family is at the home of Sherri and Tommy Lee, 206 Spring Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
