Jessie Duncan Cox, 78, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Wesley and Lula Holder Duncan, Mrs. Cox retired from Swirl, Inc. and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Sam Milton Cox, Sr. of the home; two step-sons, Sam Milton Cox, Jr. and Danny Lee Cox; a daughter, Barbara Cobb; a step-daughter, Becky Hill; a brother, Charlie Duncan; a sister, Frances Bates; and a grandchild, Kelsey Cobb.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was predeceased by her first husband, Palmer H. Nalley, and two brothers, Frank and Bud Duncan.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home Downtown. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
