Jessie "Bootsy" Ann Brown Knight, 80, of Easley, passed peacefully Thursday, August 4th at Brookdale Senior Living in Easley.

Born in Pickens County to the late Hovey Oliver Brown and Ila Eula Foster Brown.  

She was a life-long member of Carmel Presbyterian Church in Easley.   Bootsy was an associate of Belk retail stores 20 years before retiring.   Prior to Belk she worked for Swirl Incorporated for 15 years.   She enjoyed NASCAR and Clemson Football, and took pride in caring for her parents and sisters.

In addition to her parents, Bootsy was preceded in death by her brothers, Buck Brown, Ford Brown, Foster Brown, and Lewis Brown, and sisters, Evelyn Brown, Mildred Brown and Carolyn Fowler.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steve Knight (Charlene) and Gary Knight (Carolyn), all of Easley; brother, Tony Brown (Judy), of Easley; sister, Tommye Bice (Gerald), of Easley; grandchildren, Jason Knight (Jennifer), Cory Knight (Brittany), Carly Knight, Travis Hanson (Amanda), Jodie Hanson, Kenny Hanson, Kristi Knight, Jason Perry and Joshua Wall; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 8th at 11:00 AM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley.   Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 7th at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Flowers are accepted at the funeral home, and donations can be made directly to Interim Hospice, 810 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
