Jill "Evajo" Rubin, 80, wife of Jack Morris Rubin, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Middletown, Ohio September 1, 1939, a daughter of Madison and Helen (Highlands) Young.
Jill accomplished a lot of things during her life. In addition to receiving her Associate's degree, she worked at IBM, was a legal secretary, a court reporter, and with her husband owned and operated Campus Copy Shop in Clemson, SC. However, probably what was most rewarding to her was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Jill and her husband Jack loved to travel. Together they traveled to 57 different countries. Traveling to the Amazon Rain Forest was breathtaking. It turned out to be their favorite, having visited there 26 times.
Jill is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack; two daughters, Roxanne Margaret Stengel of Houston, TX and Jill Helen Durbin (Lonnie) of Central, SC; a son, Rex Vincent Rubin of Boiling Springs, SC; 6 grandchildren, Casey Tyler Durbin (Jaclyn), Aryn Durbin Skewes (Justin), Clint Stengel (Cari), Hailey Kahlden (Miles), Mitchell Rubin, and Madison Rubin; two great grandchildren, Joseph Axel Skewes, and Wade Alder Skewes.
To honor her wishes services will be private for the family.
