James Henry Elrod, age 72, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018.
Born January 15, 1946, he was the son of the late James Henry Elrod Sr., and Edna Ware Elrod. Jim owned and operated Clay Grading Company. He loved his family and spending time on the lake. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Siloam Baptist Church.
He is survived by Clay (Melanie) Elrod and Katie (Robbie) Whitfield. He was the proud grandfather of Graham Harvard, Hope Harvard, Cely Elrod, Sarah Caroline Elrod, McKenzie Whitfield and Max Whitfield. He is also survived by his sisters, Judy Grant and Betty Ann Landrum.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at Siloam Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the home of Katie Whitfield.
