Jimmie B. Threatt, 86, of Fountain Inn, SC, passed away on October 20, 2026. He was the son of the late Ester Lois Threatt.

Jimmie had many interests, a distinct personality, and a life filled with stories worth remembering.

He owned and operated Dimension Lighting, dedicating much of his working life to his business.

An avid reader, he particularly enjoyed science fiction and western novels. He loved the outdoors and, when his children were younger, often took them boating, fishing, and swimming. He was also a wonderful dancer who enjoyed hitting the dance floor.

He was a complicated man, as people sometimes are, and those who knew him understood that there were many sides to his personality. While life and family relationships were not always simple, there were moments of connection, shared memories, and stories that remain part of his family's history. One of the things he especially looked forward to was becoming a great-grandfather, enjoying taking them out for ice cream and spending time with them.

Jimmie is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Threatt and Beverly Harrison; his grandchildren, Jonathan Boldt (Stephanie), Heather Brown (Nick), Hillary Pennington, and Tyler Thurston (Melanie); and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ester “Lois” Threatt, and a grandson, Cameron Boldt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

His life, like all lives, was uniquely his own, and those who knew him will carry forward the memories and experiences that shaped their time together.
