Jimmy McDaniel Bryant, 79, of 143 Nora Avenue, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his home.

Born in Pickens County, the son of the late James Harmon Bryant and Codie Moore Bryant, Mr. Bryant retired from the Elljean Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church. He served with both the US Army and the US Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Kelley Bryant of the home; a son, Tim Bryant of Easley; a daughter, Tammie Schneider of Easley; two step-daughters, Tammy Kelley of Pickens, and Sharon Raines (Joey) of Easley; a brother, Joseph "Bicky" Bryant of Virginia; and five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Anne Bryant and by seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:45 AM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Tammie Schneider, 112 Lehigh Lane, Easley, SC 29640.
