Jimmy Carroll Burton, Sr., 78, of Dacusville, passed away Tuesday June 22, 2021.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James and Frances Burton.

Mr. Burton was a dedicated owner of G and B Painting and he partnered with Mitchell Contract Interiors in Greenville. He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed being around his family and growing beautiful flowers in his yard.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Shirley J. Burton; a daughter, Anissa Ann Galloway (Michael) of Pickens; grandchildren, Jamie Burton, Maria Burton, Travis Hoffman (Libby), Shawn Galloway and Erica Brown; six great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Donna Burton; sisters, Jean White and Carolyn Newton both of Liberty; and brothers, Ricky Burton, Sr. of Easley and Danny Burton of Greenville.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Darlene Burton, a son, Jimmy Carroll Burton, Jr., a grandson, Michael Burton, and a brother, Mikey Burton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.

The family will be at the home.
