Jimmy Lee Fields, 74, of 110 Carolina Avenue, husband of the late Maureen Emery Fields, passed away Monday February 20, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Mr. Fields grew up in Lynch, Kentucky, a son of the late John Fields, Sr. and Jennell Dowdy Fields. He was a mechanic with Lockheed-Martin and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and his grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Fields and Janet Allen and her husband, Michael, all of Easley; a brother, Dr. John Fields, Jr.; grandchildren, Jordan James Higgins, Jessica Maureen Higgins, Lindsey Anne Allen and Abby Lynne Allen.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Dale McCoig officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
