Jimmy Dale Head

Jimmy Dale Head, Sr., 72 of the Powdersville Community, passed away January 23, 2021 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Roy Head and the late Helen Staton Head. Jimmy Dale was raised in the home of Eugene and Lilie Staton. He served our country in the US Army and Vietnam War. He worked in construction until he went to GE and retired after 17 years of service. He was a Shriner and a Mason.
Surviving are his beloved wife Darlene Head; son, Jimmy Dale Head, Jr. (Heather); grandchildren, Emilee Lister, Eli James and Emerson Green. He is also survived by his sisters, Geraldine Staton Corbin (Bob), Ann Staton Kay (Sam), and Sherry Staton Grigg (Marshall); a niece Misty Dale Finley (Andy) and a nephew Brad Staton (Erin).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Chuck Lister, Jr.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Although no formal receiving of friends will be held, friends may pay their respects at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Crescent Hospice, 105 Lovett Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
