Jimmy Edward Kelley, Sr., 61, of 182 Treetop Lane, loving father, grandfather, friend and husband of Stacy Ann Smith Kelley, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 24, 2012 at his home.
Born December 8, 1950 in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Paul and Omie Jane Marcus Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a self employed blacksmith and a member of Marathon Community Church. Jimmy will be truly missed and never forgotten. He touched the hearts of all who knew him.
In addition to his wife of thirty years, he is survived his sons, Jimmy Kelley, III and Justin Kelley; daughters, Brenda Mize, Shelby Arnold, Tamatha Stegal, Libby Kelley and Elizabeth Kelley; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jimmy Edward Kelley, II.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. Charles Bell and Rev. Charlie Bishop officiating. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
