Jimmy Walton Smith, 63, of 2642 Gentry Memorial Highway, died Saturday January 10, 2009 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.
Mr. Smith was born in Greenville, SC, a son of Sarah Gillespie Smith of Easley and the late Walter Johnson Smith. He retired from Stokes Electrical Company and was a National Guard veteran. He was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his children, Victor Smith, of Pickens and Pam Powell, of Liberty ; a sister, June Smith, of Belton and three grandchildren.
Services will be announced at a late date.
