Jo Holladay Funchess, 27, of 232 Sanders Road, died Friday, April 23, 2010.
Born in Anderson, SC, daughter of Mark H. and Jane Garrett Funchess of Central, she was a former Art Teacher at West Oak High School. She received her B.A. Degree in Art Education from USC and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Carson Mark Funchess of Central; maternal grandparents, Hal and Bobbie Carson Garrett of Central; fraternal grandparents, William H. and Sybil Holladay Funchess of Clemson; numerous uncles; aunts; cousins; her fiance, Justin Arthur; many friends; and her much beloved former students.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Kurt McPherson officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
The family is at the home of her parents at 704 Brock Street, Central, SC 29630.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fox Nest Veterinary Hospital, 10445 Clemson Blvd, Seneca, SC 29678 or to Concerned Citizens for Animals, 3627 Fork Shoals Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680-6817.
