Joan Bennett Arthur, 75, of Sunset Dr., wife of George "Jake" Arthur, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born January 8, 1939 in Ninety Six, she was a daughter of the late Lay and Ruth Ferguson Bennett. Mrs. Arthur was a retired weaver with Greenwood Mills.
In addition to her husband of nearly fifty six years, she is survived by her daughters, Leticia Strawhorn (David) and Stacey Quinn (Joey); grandchildren, Michelle, Rusty, Amanda, and Katie and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Spears.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
