 Joan Kay Young Boiter, 86, of Easley and formerly of Florence, SC, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024.

 Born in St. Louis, MO, she was a daughter of the late Norma Lee Newlan Young and Claude Young.

 Mrs. Boiter was a member of Shiloh Assembly Church in Florence for eighteen years. She enjoyed interior decorating, singing in crusades, creating crafts, and various fashions. She was formerly employed with Saco-Lowell in Easley until they closed.

 Surviving are her sons, Tony Boiter (Jean) of Liberty and Gary Boiter of Six Mile; eight grandchildren, Travis Boiter (Katie), Jenna Youmans (Ryan), Jessica Smith (Justin), Mike Boiter, Dale Boiter, Jeremy Boiter (Gabby), Jonathan Boiter (Madison), and Jennifer Boiter; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Faye Roberts; and brothers, Tim Young (Pat), David Young (Jan), Floyd Young (Sandy), Larry Young (Donna), and Raymond Young (Brenda).

 In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Dennis Boiter; a sister, Claudine Rae Young; and brothers, Gerald Lee Young and Dennis Paul Young.

 The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
