Joan Taylor Burdette, 77, widow of the late Frank Burdette, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. A native of Central she was the daughter of the late John and Leila Roper Taylor. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by son Ted Burdette of Central; daughters Kim Reyes (Mike) of Central and Amy Sanders (Mark) of Seneca; sisters Doris Boyd of Pendleton, Janice Wilson of Liberty and Judy Beckham of Dallas, TX and grandchildren Jordan Reyes and Matthew and Gabe Sanders
Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-3:30 at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672
