Joan Barnard Moore Dastou, 84, of 706 Pelzer Highway, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Easley, S.C. after a short illness.
Born in Millersburg, IN, the daughter of the late Angelo and Lavita Barnard, Mrs. Dastou was a homemaker, spending the majority of her married life in North Litchfield Beach, S.C.
Mrs. Dastou is survived by her husband, R. George Dastou of Easley, S.C.; a son, Barry Moore of Eugene, OR; a grandson, Butch Moore of Anchorage, AK and two step-sons, Bob and Linda Dastou of Easley, S.C. and Bill and Joyce Dastou of Lowell, MA; and several step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Mrs. Dastou's name to: Tara Hall Home for Boys, P.O. Box 955; Georgetown, S.C. 29442.
