Joan Miller Egan

Joan Miller Egan passed away on March 9, 2024, after a period of declining health. She was married to J. Joseph Egan (deceased) for 66 years and was a native of Louisville, KY, where she graduated from Kentucky Home School for Girls and attended the University of Louisville. She dearly loved her 4 children, their families, and her extended family. She had a long and abundant life which included passions for interior design, travel, entertaining, and collecting pottery, jewelry, artwork, antiques, Beanie Babies, and everything rabbit.
 
Joan is survived by her sons, John J. Egan III (Linda) of Springfield, VA, Clifton Scott Miller Egan (Diane) of Clemson, SC, and Christopher Gatewood Egan (Penny) of Tucson, AZ, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Eleanor Tatum Tudo (John), of Phoenixville, PA.
 
 A memorial service for Joan Egan will be held at Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community, 205 Bud Nalley Drive, Easley, SC 29642 on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. and a private family graveside service is planned in May at St. David’s Church Cemetery in Radnor, PA.
