Mrs. Joan Smith Jameson, 83, wife of William B. "Bill" Jameson, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Foothills Presbyterian Home.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Ellis and Anna Mae Holliday Smith, Mrs. Jameson was a graduate of Liberty High School and retired from NCR, Liberty. She was a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-five years, are a son, Stan L. Jameson (Fran) and a daughter, Rebecca Jane Jameson, all of Easley; a sister, Carol S. James (Joe) of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Daniel Jameson (Kaylee), and Parker Jameson (Sydney); and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Landon. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jameson was predeceased by a brother, Edward Smith; her twin-sister, Joyce Smith Burris, and an infant sister, Artie Mae Smith.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
