Joan F. Mehaffey

Joan Ferguson Mehaffey, 81, of Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC passed away peacefully on December 4, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Jack Ferguson and Lula Kirkpatrick Ferguson.

Joan was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Sue Ferguson Clark. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, George Pierce Mehaffey; son Richard Scott Mehaffey (Mitzi) of Greenville; daughter Karen Mehaffey Capps (Wayne) of Lexington; grandchildren, Alexis Brooke Mehaffey and Emily Alyce Mehaffey; nieces Cindy Clark Stowers, Joy Clark Garland, and Melanie Clark Raska; and nephew Danny Clark. Joan was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Pendleton and a graduate of Blanton's Business College.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the
Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum on Powdersville Road with Chaplain David Newton officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the Mausoleum.
