Joan B. StampsClemson, SCJoan Burk Stamps, 83, wife of Frank Stewart Stamps of Clemson, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Clemson Downs.Born in Nashville, TN, she was daughter of the late William and Martha White Burk.Joan lived most of her life in Nashville, TN, then moved when her husband's job took them to Cleveland, OH, Fanwood, NJ and Bloomfield Hills, MI.  While in Michigan, she started a resale store The Treasure Trunk which has been in business for 41 years and is being run by her son, Mike.  She retired with her husband to Keowee Key in Salem, SC.  She has been living for the past two years at Clemson Downs Retirement Center in Clemson, SC.Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Ken Stamps of Asheville, NC and Mike Stamps of Bloomfield Hills, MI; grandsons, Austin Stamps and Alex Stamps.Private services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by her family and friends.Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
