Joani Tara Horne, 68 of Central passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of Irene Ates Stancil of Central, and the late Dwight Stancil.
Joani was formerly an LPN at Cannon Memorial Hospital and attended Central Church of God. She enjoyed crafts, yardwork, and gardening.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Stephen James Horne; her daughters, Wendy McClellan (Hugh) of Easley, and Angela Allen (Mark) of Central; a brother, O'Neal Lackey of Plum Branch; a sister, Carol Chafin of Central; four grandchildren, Chad Stone, Zachary Allen, Cory Stone, and Stephanie Allen; and four great-grandchildren, McKenzie Stone, Will Stone, Abel Allen, and Allie Allen.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown Easley. The family will greet friends following the service.
The family will be at the home.
