Joann Rose Williams Christy, 76, wife of Lynn Warren Christy, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at her home.
Born in Watertown, NY, she was a daughter of the late Giles Joseph Williams and the late Rose Marie Spevak Williams. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family. Joann worked as a long distance operator with AT&T for twenty-five years and as a customer service representative for Duke Power for eight years. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, Charles Allen Del Moro and Casey Giles Del Moro, both of Easley; daughters, Christine Lynn Mortimer (Peter) of LaGrange, IL and Lisa Lynn Noonan of Darien, IL; a brother, Giles Rudolph Williams of Northfield, IL; grandchildren, Craig Herman, Brittany Schreck (Christopher), Emily Mortimer, Melissa Mortimer, Katie Noonan, Billy Noonan, Erin Noonan, Aiden Bridges, Austin Del Moro, Christian Del Moro, Andruw Del Moro, and Landon Del Moro; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Colette, Luke, and Ezra.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
