Joann Turner Ragsdale, 76, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 19, 2019.
Born in Easley, a daughter of the late Oscar Turner and the late Gladys Waldrop Turner, she was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards and attending Bingo at the Senior Center in Pickens. She especially loved spending time with her precious grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Tony Ragsdale (Angela) of Easley; a daughter, Kim Roper (Joey) of Pickens; grandchildren, Adam Ragsdale, Isaac Ragsdale, and Belle Roper; a niece, Sandy Sabback (Randy) of Charleston, SC; nephews, Samuel Turner of Easley and Matt Turner (Renee) of Pickens; and her best friend of fifty-seven years, Ruby Galloway,
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy Turner and Ricky Turner; and a sister, Joyce Fant.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at Cannon Mountain Baptist Church, 302 Woodland Drive, Pickens, SC 29671.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
