Joanne Boyt Becknell, 67, of 1031 Briarwood Drive, Easley and wife of William Stuart Becknell, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Thomaston, GA, a daughter of the late Joe Ab and Ruby Boyt, she was a retired employee with St. Francis Hospital and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home, are: two sons, Brian K. Becknell and wife, Virginia Nell, of Powdersville and Britt S. Becknell and wife, Genie, of Spartanburg; one sister, Lynn Boyt Murphy of Jupiter, FL; and four grandchildren, Keith, William, Alexandra and Anna Becknell.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
