JoAnne Powell Painter, 90, of Easley, beloved wife of the late Rudolph Painter, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Beno Eugene Powell and Louise Garland Powell.

Mrs. Painter retired from First National Bank in Easley after 35 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Rudy Painter and his wife, Marsha, of Greer and Stan Painter and his wife, Cindy, of Greenville; grandchildren, Joey (Dasha), Dusty (Betsay), Carly (Colin), Valerie, Wesley, Trevor (Eliza), Jason (Sara) and Lauren (Jeremy); eleven great grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Powell (Margaret) of Easley.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Chad Painter.

A private entombment will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum in Pickens.

The family would like to thank NHC Mauldin for their care and support over the past 10 years.
