Joe Britt, Jr., 46, of 109 Alex Lane, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 14, 2008, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Lumberton, NC, a son of Joe Britt, Sr., of Lumberton, NC, and Rosa Harrelson Shiverdecker of Anderson, Mr. Britt was employed with Liberty Denim and was previously employed with K and M Fabrics of Greenville for more than twenty years. He was a member of Potters Clay Fellowship and was also a member of God's Squad Power Team and Warrior Prison and outreach Ministries.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Sharon Hodge Britt of the home; two brothers, Ricky Britt of Lumberton, NC, and Barry Britt of Savannah, GA; and a sister, Kellie Trotter.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorials Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to God's Squad Power Team, 119 Bracken Court, Liberty, SC 29657.
The family is at the residence.
