Joe D. Wilson, 72, of 223 Apple Hill Road, and husband of Ann Hamilton Wilson, passed away Saturday May 19, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank and Lindsey Crane Wilson. He was a painter with Fluor Company and was a Baptist.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Joey L. Wilson and his wife Katie and Roger Dale Wilson and his wife, Marti, all of Easley; a daughter, Genia Joann O'Bryant and her husband, Dan, of Pickens; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Silvia Ann Wilson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the home.
