Joey Dee Stewart, 71, husband of Donna Pearson Stewart, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Diesel Douglas Stewart and Betty Jean Perry Stewart.

Joey retired as a welder and pipe fitter for DZ Atlantic. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to Jazz music, and playing a good round of golf.

In addition to his wife, Donna Stewart, he is survived by his children, Dawn Whitlock of Easley and Chad Stewart (Charity) of Pickens; grandchildren, Lexie Nicole Bridges, Jamie Whitlock, Colton Reid Stewart, Carrington Grace Stewart; great-grandchildren; Asher Creed Whitlock, and Jersee Layne ; stepchildren, Matthew Short (Laura) of Marietta, GA and Jessica Perry (Adam) of Canton, NC; step grandchildren, Sam Vanden Bergh, Casey Marie Vanden Bergh, Leanna Perry, Kaylee Perry, and Braxton Short; sisters, Kathy Baker of Greenville and Christi Donley of TN; and a brother, Jeremiah Stewart of Greenville.

Joey was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Alan Stewart.
