John Ernest Bradley, Jr of Pickens, SC, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones. His death followed several weeks of a recent illness.
Johnny was born in Anderson, SC on October 13, 1955, the first and only son of John and Carol Bradley Sr. of Powdersville, SC. He was married to Floyce Brown Bradley until her death in 2006. He is survived by his current wife of nine years, Tonya Parsons Bradley. A 1973 graduate of Wren High School, he attended Brevard College before enlisting in the United States Army, where he served in Hawaii. Afterwards, he was hired by Southern Bell and retired as an Installation Repairman after 31 years of service. He was a proud member of the Yarab Temple of the Shrine.
Johnny was known for his generosity and fierce love for his family. He was rarely seen not wearing Harley Davidson attire, representing his deep adoration for his many relationships with those who rode motorcycles with him.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife Floyce Brown Bradley in 2006. Surviving him are his parents, John & Carol Bradley Sr. of Powdersville; wife Tonya Parsons Bradley of Pickens; daughters & sons-in-law Darrick & Sunshine (Bradley) Unterwagner of Brunswick, Ga, and MAJ Keith & Melissa (Bradley) Bell of Lorton, Va; 5 grandsons (Evan, Bryce, Bailey & Eli Unterwagner, and Jackson Bell) and one granddaughter, Natalie Bell; sisters and brothers-in-law Jack & Laura Stinson, and Teddy & Tara LeCroy; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
The celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home in Powdersville, located at 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC, officiated by Rev Frank Southerland. The internment will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens immediately following, located at 7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm at Robinson Funeral Home in Powdersville.
